Carne asada and pastor tacos are bomb!! Burritos are good size. Chips are house made nice and warm. Salsa bar is excellent. Customer service is ok but food is good so I'll be back.

Meat is dry, food has no flavor. Plus bad service and rude cashier. People who work there seem like they hate their job and don't even talk to you or smile.

I'm from New York where authentic Mexican food is a foreign language. My wife and her family has been coming here for years, and when we first met, she took me to Amigos. I was immediately hooked, and now I think this place is my favorite out of all the places I've been to in 5 years.
The hole-in-the-wall appearance is almost a must for authenticity. The staff are friendly and the inside is pretty clean. It's a stop in, get your food and enjoy it type place in a strip mall. The chips and salsa are free with any order, but they limit you to one bag of chips per meal (no more all you can serve yourself. Boo.)
My favorite is the regular burrito with grilled chicken (pollo asado). The meat is so tasty, tender, and just yum. FYI, get the grilled chicken over the regular chicken. I forgot to say "grilled" one time, and I never heard the end of it. The regular chicken is "stewed" and wet, and eventually the tortilla is soggy.
I've also had the super nachos, tacos, enchilada plate, and carne asada plate. Nothing ever disappoints. Seriously.
Try the Pico de Gallo, but watch out for the jalapeños if you don't like spicy. The red salsa and green salsa is also good and not so spicy.
I'll keep coming back!!
